Jodie Blaney
Abstract Artist | Painter
For the past 15 years, Jodie’s unique artistic interpretation of Canada’s west coast landscape has captured the imagination of art collectors from Canada and abroad. Her expressive painting style features rhythmical compositions, bold colours, and a whimsical flair. Her paintings are imaginative and eclectic, a fusion of reality and imagination. She has many artistic influences, namely iconic Canadian artists Emily Carr, Lawren Harris and A.J. Casson. She’s also interested in Cubism as depicted in the works of Picasso, Cezanne and Braque. Jodie regularly exhibits her work at Vancouver shows and paints full time from her home studio gallery in Ladner (South Delta) BC. Visitors are welcome by appointment.
