“As I interpret my surroundings, I like to explore imagery through experimenting with materials and crossing media boundaries.
Sometimes my imagery sources come from my internal feelings as I explore my joys and rants or I let my mind free to create images from the subconscious.
In my abstract work, I set a few rules and then use them as a game plan to create variations on a visual theme, being always mindful of the abstract truths that underpin visual expression – shape, form, composition, positive and negative space, form, patterns and texture.”
